Mother Neko IIThe woman raised her head and removed the hood. Her face was that of a human. The entire council, except for the Queen, gasped. “Mother Anamalis,” whispered the Empress. The king blinked and lowered his head. The entire council, except for the Queen, bowed. Mother Anamalis looked around and opened her mouth to speak. In ancient times, before man ruled the Earth, there were only animals. Then, there were no barriers between the kingdoms. The species could intermingle and breed new species that then could intermingle again. Amongst the new breeds were the purebreds. They were the eldest and wisest of their own species.
